Job Description

Responsibilities

Define and roll out the global brand and communications strategy, with a specific attention on US market.
Develop global communication plans in collaboration with the other Brand & Communications Managers (Europe and Emerging Markets) and Activation teams.
Ensure communication plans, campaigns, and marketing assets are relevant and effective based on a strong understanding of the U.S. market, including market maturity, product offering, competitive environment, consumer insights, and business needs, while enabling local adaptation when needed.
Ensure consistency of Somfy's brand positioning, identity, and messaging across all touchpoints within the U.S. region.
Develop creative campaigns and content for the brand at a global level. Ensure they maximize impact and relevance in the US market, thanks to close synergies with local marketing teams.
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and content.
Support Solution teams (especially Window Fashion Solutions teams) in their product launch initiatives, including brief development, project guidance, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
Collaborate closely with other members of the Brand & Communications team to build a strong, consistent, and differentiated Somfy brand globally across all customer touchpoints.
Monitor brand performance and communication effectiveness through relevant KPIs and recommend continuous improvement actions.
Lead and develop one collaborator (content coordinator).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Strong expertise in brand strategy and brand management, with the ability to translate strategic direction into actionable communication plans, campaigns, and activations that are globally consistent and locally relevant for the U.S. market.
Deep understanding of brand platforms and governance, with the ability to champion brand guidelines and ensure their consistent, impactful application across campaigns, content, channels, and customer touchpoints while supporting teams in execution.
Solid expertise in omnichannel communications, integrated marketing campaigns, and marketing funnel management, with the ability to design, lead, and optimize communication initiatives across multiple channels to achieve brand and business objectives.
Strong knowledge of the U.S. market and customer-centric mindset, including the ability to analyze consumer insights, market trends, competitive dynamics, channel realities, and stakeholder needs to deliver relevant and actionable recommendations.
Proven people management and cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, manage priorities and resources effectively, and influence internal stakeholders, regional teams, and external partners to drive complex projects successfully.

Preferred

Experience working within a global or international organization and navigating matrix environments.
Demonstrated success in developing integrated brand campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
