Job Description

Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Planning
- Analyze customer challenges, buying drivers, and decision‑making processes to inform market positioning, value propositions, and messaging.
- Translate long‑term business strategy into go‑to‑market and campaign strategies with clear objectives and success metrics.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- There may be instances where elements of market intelligence are needed to support a specific segment; technology trends, customer needs, emerging applications.
Marketing Activation & Campaign Execution
- Plan, develop, and lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Partner with segment leaders and product teams to identify new business opportunities and support segment‑based marketing initiatives.
- Develop compelling messaging frameworks and content requirements that articulate ABB’s value across industry lifecycle.
- Ensure consistent positioning across digital, events, content, and partner channels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in electrification, power, digital infrastructure, or related industries, with experience in marketing, product management, segment leadership, or sales.
Ability to organize information and communicate clearly with different audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple functions and influence without direct authority.
Exhibits a high say/do ratio—sets clear commitments and delivers results with consistency and credibility.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 20% within the U.S.
