Job Description

FourWebGroup is seeking a talented, driven, and highly organized Senior Videographer to join our in-house content team. This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and is passionate about short-form video content.

As a Senior Videographer, you will be responsible for leading on-site shoots, capturing compelling visual content, setting up and adjusting lighting and sound, operating various camera rigs, and ensuring all footage aligns with brand goals and production quality standards. You’ll work closely with our Creative Leads, Social Media Managers, and Editors to produce high-quality media that performs across digital and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and direct short-form video content (primarily for social media)
• Operate a variety of professional camera systems.
• Set up and manage lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots
• Capture high-quality audio using wireless lavs, boom mics, or on-camera solutions
• Ensure proper framing, composition, exposure, and storytelling across all footage
• Collaborate with account and creative teams to execute brand-aligned visual content
• Organize footage and provide clear handoff to editing team post-shoot
• Maintain and manage video equipment, keeping it in excellent working condition
• Assist in content planning and brainstorming as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in videography, especially in short-form content
• Expert-level understanding of camera operation, lighting, and video production workflows
• Proven ability to work efficiently on set while balancing quality and speed
• Experience in social-first content creation (for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong visual storytelling instincts
• Ability to take creative direction and execute within brand standards
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a larger production team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (some shoots require travel)
• Must be available for occasional evening and weekend shoots (advanced notice provided)
• Strong communication and professionalism in client-facing environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field
• Familiarity with social trends and audio styles used in Reels and TikTok
• Experience operating gimbals, sliders, drones, or other specialty gear
• Basic editing or post-production skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)

Additional Notes

• This role is based on-site at our Fairfield, NJ office and frequently involves off-site shoots
• Candidates must be able to lift and transport video equipment as needed
