Senior Video Editor (DTC / eCommerce)

Responsibilities

• Editing paid-social ads from raw footage through final delivery
• Turning scripts and briefs into persuasive visual stories
• Creating strong hooks and scroll-stopping openings
• Using pacing, captions, sound design and visual hierarchy to retain attention
• Editing short-form ads and longer formats, including VSLs
• Producing variations and iterations for creative testing
• Exporting deliverables for Meta and other relevant platforms
• Applying feedback and performance learnings to future work
• Reviewing your work before submission
• Organizing source footage, project files and final deliverables

Requirements

• At least five years of professional video-editing experience
• At least three years editing paid-social or direct-response creative for DTC or e-commerce brands
• A portfolio demonstrating high-performing Meta or paid-social ads
• Experience working in a high-volume creative environment
• Experience collaborating with Creative Strategists and marketers
• Experience iterating creative based on feedback and performance data
• Expert-level video editing
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling and retention
• Short-form, long-form and VSL editing
• Captioning, sound design and platform-specific formatting

Preferred

• Potential progression into Lead Video Editor, Team Lead or Creative Production Lead roles
