Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Help create press materials related to SVOD content, including press releases, briefing documents, PR plans, and pitches.
  • Engage with media outlets covering entertainment, anime, and related genres to pitch unique story ideas.
  • Collaborate on major streaming premieres and seasonal launches, contributing to creative campaigns that enhance platform and content visibility.
  • Participate in seasonal announcements, highlights, trend stories, and targeted pitches.
  • Help manage processes for announcements, interviews, and distribution of photo and video assets.
  • Contribute to best practice development with licensors for communications and publicity activities.
  • Support efforts to promote Crunchyroll's dubbing initiatives and voice talent publicity.
  • Contribute to the strategy for TV and streaming-related awards campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Events team on public events and cultural moments to maximize brand and content exposure.
  • Help prepare talent for interviews, including drafting talking points and providing coaching.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Public Relations,Communications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field
  • You respond to pressure or crisis situations while maintaining a calm presence
  • You run multiple work streams simultaneously
  • You're able to focus and sculpt communications (written, verbal) to best meet our needs
  • You have established media contacts and relationships
  • You are familiar with anime, pop culture and/or current entertainment
  • You can travel domestically
