Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Managing 5–8 client accounts, serving as the primary day-to-day contact
  • Overseeing junior staff and interns
  • Leading client meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring clear follow-ups and deliverables
  • Developing and executing strategic media relations programs across lifestyle, business, and trade outlets
  • Crafting compelling narratives, story angles, and media pitches
  • Writing and editing press releases, media alerts, messaging documents, and other communications materials
  • Brainstorming and developing creative PR initiatives and campaign ideas for clients
  • Proactively identifying media opportunities, partnerships, and cultural moments to elevate client visibility
  • Managing media outreach and cultivating relationships with journalists, editors, and producers
  • Overseeing reporting and sharing performance insights with clients and senior management

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of PR agency or media relations experience
  • Proven ability to lead accounts and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Strong relationships with lifestyle, consumer, and business media
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of AI and Social Media Platforms
  • Confidence leading client calls and presentations
  • Strategic thinking and ability to generate creative PR ideas and campaigns
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with agency leadership and team members
