Lead engaging soccer coaching sessions while gaining hands-on experience supporting community events, business operations, and marketing initiatives in the office during the fall internship.

Own coaching sessions and create fun, educational experiences for youth.
Assist with events, operations, and marketing tasks to support Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington.

Responsibilities

This internship is primarily a coaching role, allowing you to lead fun, engaging soccer sessions while also gaining experience supporting community events, business operations, and marketing initiatives in the office.

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness!
Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior soccer experience is not required- prior experience working with children is preferred
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle- that is insured
Transportation Requirement: Reliable transportation is required. Interns must be able to commute to our Burtonsville office (3919 National Drive, Burtonsville, MD 20866 - Suite 300) and travel to coaching sites located approximately 30–45 minutes away
Must be able to pass a background check
FALL Internship Dates: August 17 - December 4, 2026
Hours: 30+ hours per week
Must be able to work on the weekends

Soccer Shots Los Angeles

Soccer Shots is a national program teaching children ages 2-8 the beautiful game of soccer. One of our trademarks is the developmentally appropriate curriculum we use that emphasizes creative play, enjoyment of sport, and character building lessons. Our sessions range from 30-40 minutes in length, and our coaches are energetic and enthusiastic individuals who love working with kids of all ages.
