Job Summary

Drive strategic paid search across Google, Microsoft, and app ecosystems with end-to-end planning, optimization, automation, tracking, and reporting to grow client performance.

  • Must-have: 5+ years managing paid search in agency/performance settings with multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Standout: Deep multi-platform expertise (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, app ecosystems) and automation/tooling experience.
  • Standout: End-to-end measurement ownership (tags, GA4/GTM, attribution) and exec-level reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth : Lead the strategy and execution of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and app ecosystems, aligning media investment with client business goals and full-funnel performance.
  • Planning – Plan, build and manage SEM media plans based on growth forecasts to hit Goals/KPIs set by client. You will lead the end-to-end strategic planning of paid search campaigns, building full-funnel search roadmaps. This involves developing granular keyword architectures and query mapping strategies that align media investment with specific client business goals and seasonal demand.
  • Optimization: Build and manage granular campaign structures — including keyword segmentation, ad copy testing, and bidding strategy — to maximize efficiency and return on spend.
  • Automation: Collaborate with Ad Tech and Product teams to implement smart bidding strategies, feed-based automations, and scripts that scale performance and reduce manual optimization.
  • Conversion Tracking: Own the end-to-end process from implementation of tags/conversion events to troubleshooting if required and partner (where necessary) with Analytics and Tech to ensure data integrity through clean tagging, conversion tracking, and attribution modeling across GA4, GTM, and CRM integrations
  • Performance Reporting : You will serve as the primary strategic voice for paid search performance, transforming complex campaign data into clear, executive-level narratives that bridge the gap between technical metrics and business growth. This role requires the ability to lead weekly client meetings and presentations, where you will identify trends, explaining performance drivers, and forecasting growth opportunities. You are responsible for ensuring that all reporting is both actionable and consultative, fostering a high level of client trust by consistently demonstrating how search strategies directly impact their bottom-line objectives.
  • Cross-Functional collaboration: Work alongside Creative, SEO, Analytics and Account teams to ensure paid search efforts complement broader digital marketing initiatives.
  • Continuous Innovator: Stay ahead of algorithm updates, automation advancements, and beta opportunities across Google and Microsoft to keep campaigns at the leading edge.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing paid search campaigns, ideally within an agency or performance marketing environment
  • Deep platform expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, and app ecosystems (Apple Search Ads, Google UAC, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of keyword architecture, query mapping, bidding models, and conversion tracking
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar paid search budgets with accountability for CPA, ROAS, and ROI performance
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripts (e.g., SA360, Skai, Marin, or in-house API-based solutions)
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign data into meaningful insights and business recommendations
  • Experience designing and executing A/B tests across ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies
  • Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, attribution modeling, and feed-based automation

    Benefits

    • Annual base salary range at $130,000-$150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
    • Annual performance based discretionary bonus
    • 3 Medical plans
    • Dental and Vision
    • Life, AD&D and other voluntary insurance
    • 401K retirement plan
    • 4% matching and 100% vested upon enrollment
    • Health Savings Account (HSA)
    • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
    • Health, Dependent Care, Commuter
    • 100% paid parental leave for all new parents with eligible tenure
    • Building Healthy Families program if enrolled through Medical plan
