Job Summary

Own regional awards and communications throughput by managing the awards lifecycle, content development, and regional storytelling while supporting marketing and sales collateral with writing and project narratives.

  • Award & Photography: Own the end-to-end awards pipeline and photography workflow for the region.
  • Regional Communications: Coordinate external messaging and thought leadership content with regional leadership and marketing.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Provide proposal writing support and document project stories for pitches and qualifications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Award & Photography Management
  • Maintains an award tracking list including deadlines and submission requirements.
  • Works with regional leadership and design leadership through the awards go/no go process to select and prioritize projects/people for award submissions.
  • Leads award content development for the region.
  • Works closely with the project teams to produce award narratives, graphics and layouts.
  • Manages logistics of project and staff photography process.
  • Implements process improvements to streamline awards and photography processes.
  • Regional/Local Communications
  • Coordinates with communication specialists to develop external messaging strategies and plans to support promotion of regional/office projects and people.
  • Works with Regional Marketing Manager and communications team to develop thought leadership content for key office/region staff.
  • Supports region/office internal communication needs.
  • Assists in the response to industry surveys.
  • Assists with coordinating regional events.
  • Sales & Marketing Support
  • Assists Regional Marketing Manager with regional strategy and growth priorities through pre-positioning, video planning, and execution initiatives, as needed.
  • Provides writing support on proposal and other marketing collateral responses, as needed.
  • Develops and documents project stories for use in project sheets, qualifications and proposals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of related experience required. (Experience in the A/E/C industry or professional services marketing is preferred.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or related field (preferred).
  • Writing experience across multiple channels (news releases, websites, email, social media, award entries, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Cloud applications – specifically InDesign
  • Experience with CRM and Digital Asset Management systems – Microsoft Dynamics and OpenAsset experience a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to produce and deliver project assignments under strict deadlines.
  • Skill in effectively operating within a team environment.

    • While we may ultimately pay more or less than a posted salary range, at the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $93,000 annually and you are eligible for a performance-based bonus each year.
