Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of global marketing strategy, preparing the annual plan and shaping a 3–5-year business outlook while anticipating shifts in market dynamics.
  • Manages new product introduction plans and global launches in FISH technology in coordination with cross-functional and regional teams; partners with global sales training to deliver effective education to distributors and local teams.
  • Supports sales and R&D for both on-market products and new launches; adapts marketing strategies based on evolving market conditions and sets priorities for product development and enhancements.
  • Oversee on-market and new oncology products, systems, and technologies, ensuring compliance and addressing customer needs, including development of clear customer communications.
  • Collaborates across global stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and visibility against integrated business plans, proactively identifying and resolving risks impacting timelines and quality.
  • Partners with Global Training, Downstream Marketing, Distribution, and Sales to develop tools, messaging, value propositions, and programs that maximize commercialization success and pipeline growth.
  • Applies strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making to prioritize financial and human resource investments for optimal business outcomes.
  • Drives product development priorities (internal and third-party) to support launch readiness, sales execution, and market expansion.
  • Executes global marketing communications in collaboration with regional teams to deliver multi-channel strategies that strengthen brand presence and support market development.
  • Engage with sales teams and key customers to advance market development and enable revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, science, engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years’ experience and demonstrated success in a complex selling environment (multiple stakeholders, multiple decision makers, product alignment to goals / initiatives)
  • 5+ years progressive experience in medical device, pharma, diagnostics, or related industry; 3+ years in leadership roles
  • Experience in product, market, or program management; oncology marketing preferred
  • Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, healthcare delivery, and reimbursement environments
  • Proven expertise in product development, launches, marketing strategy, and business development
  • Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and advanced analytical/project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence in matrixed, global environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • MBA preferred, emphasis in marketing, Science, Engineering
  • Oncology Marketing experience
  • International marketing experience including Asia, Canada, and Europe.
