Responsibilities

• Marketing Operations Ownership: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, print, signage, events, and community engagement. Own the marketing calendar from brief to launch to post-mortem.
• AI-Powered Execution: Actively leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, or equivalent) to accelerate content creation, streamline workflows, automate reporting, and generate creative at scale. You should be doing the work of a much larger team.
• Technology Stack Management: Own and continuously improve the marketing technology stack — including CRM/marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent), project management tools (Asana, Monday, or ClickUp), and analytics platforms. Identify gaps and recommend new tools that drive efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a small in-house marketing team. Set the standard for execution, follow-through, and craft. Delegate intelligently and hold the bar high.
• Performance & Analytics: Track, report, and act on KPIs — leads, cost per acquisition, campaign performance, and brand metrics. Turn data into clear, executive-ready recommendations. Build dashboards so results are always visible.
• Budget Management: Own the marketing budget. Track spend by channel, flag variances early, and recommend reallocation based on performance — not habit.
• Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent, polished Copper Builders brand across all collateral, digital channels, model homes, signage, and events.
• Sales Alignment: Partner with the sales team to align messaging, sharpen lead handoff, and close the loop on reporting. Marketing exists to fill the pipeline.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging channels — especially AI and automation developments. Bring fresh ideas to leadership proactively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated ability to manage multi-channel campaigns end-to-end and lead or mentor a team.
• Fluent with AI marketing tools: You actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Midjourney, or similar) in your daily workflow. This is not a nice-to-have — it’s a core expectation.
• Marketing automation & CRM proficiency: Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Marketo, or a comparable platform. You know how to build workflows, not just use them.
• Lean-team operator mindset: You’ve run (or been a critical part of) a small marketing function that produces outsized results through smart systems, automation, and prioritization.
• Project management fluency: Strong working knowledge of Asana, Monday, ClickUp, or a similar tool.
• Data-driven decision maker: Comfortable reading analytics, building dashboards, and translating performance data into strategy.
• Exceptional Communicator: You can write a brief, run a meeting, give clear creative feedback, and keep a senior leader informed in three sentences.
• Budget management experience: You’ve owned a marketing budget and can confidently defend or redirect spend based on performance.
• Agency management experience: Preferably with time spent at or managing an agency, with a track record of holding partners accountable to results.
• Strong work ethic & ownership mentality: You take initiative, find a way when things get hard, and care deeply about outcomes — not just activities.
