Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field AND three (3) years of professional level experience in marketing, promotional or related work. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Experience with web/HTML, e-mail marketing tools, presentation software, social media channels, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to details.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing marketing and communications plans, assessing and analyzing outcomes, and researching new market strategies and solutions or related work.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a higher education or similar institutional setting.
  • Advanced degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or other related field.
  • Demonstrated successful marketing and promotion experience in healthcare, education, or other related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects independently and with specific deadlines.
