Job Summary

Own social programming across The Shop and related franchises, leading calendar, YouTube strategy, content direction, and cross-team collaboration to drive growth and engagement in a culture and sports driven audience.

  • Own social programming: master calendar, asset workflows, and episodic content planning across platforms.
  • Cross-functional execution: coordinate with social programmers, producers, and strategy to optimize publishing and QC assets.
  • Growth signals: monitor performance and surface optimization ideas to lift engagement and retention.

Job Description

Own and scale social programming for The Shop across multiple platforms, with calendar ownership, creative direction, and channel strategy that supports other Originals and Studio IP as priorities.

  • Responsibilities: Social programming master calendar, asset creation workflows, and copywriting to ensure consistent tone and voice.
  • Collaboration: Work with Social Programmers, Producers, and strategy leads to optimize publishing workflows and daily operations.
  • YouTube & video: Lead YouTube programming with thumbnail, title/description strategy, Shorts, and Community initiatives.
  • Strategic input: Advise on cultural/social trends to guide content direction across platforms.
  • Quality control: QC all published assets to align with brand and franchise requirements.
  • Cross-team alignment: Coordinate with leadership and content teams to publish assets at the correct times with proper messaging.
  • Performance focus: Monitor live programming analytics and surface opportunities to improve growth and engagement.
  • Platform execution: Ensure social strategy is implemented across original and branded content.
  • Audience & distribution: Inform digital distribution and scale best practices across the portfolio.
  • Content engagement: Align with showrunners to support social content strategy for The Shop and related franchises.
