Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Peak’s corporate communications and PR strategy.
• Work directly with executives to develop messaging, talking points, presentations, and external narratives.
• Write press releases, media pitches, FAQs, briefing materials, and executive communications.
• Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking engagements, and major announcements.
• Build media relationships and proactively drive earned coverage.
• Manage Peak’s external PR agency, including priorities, pitching strategy, and performance.
• Develop and maintain Peak’s corporate, technology, and product messaging.
• Translate technical differentiation, customer insights, and market dynamics into clear value propositions and compelling external stories.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, and Engineering to validate proof points, customer evidence, and technical claims.
• Develop executive thought leadership and review technical explainers, case studies, white papers, and customer-facing content to ensure messaging alignment

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in communications, PR, product communications, or a related role.
• Exceptional writer and editor with extensive experience writing press releases, pitches, executive messaging, and long-form content.
• Strong media relations experience and a track record of securing meaningful earned coverage.
• Experience working directly with senior executives and the judgment and confidence to advise leadership on messaging and external communications.
• Experience positioning and launching technical products, technologies, or major company initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex technical and commercial information into clear, credible narratives and customer value propositions.
• High ownership and ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.

Preferred

• Significant PR agency experience strongly preferred, ideally combined with in-house experience.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, climate tech, industrial technology, or another technical industry strongly preferred.
