Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Senior Strategic Initiatives GTM specialist on the AWS Annapurna Labs ML team driving mid/long-term AI growth.
  • Understand needs of influential AI researchers and open-source communities to onboard them to AWS AI Chips.
  • Identify business needs, relevant academic research, and measure innovation value to guide investments.
  • Collaborate with GTM teammates and AWS teams to promote and drive researcher/community growth.
  • Lead cross-functional engagement with services, field solutions, sales, and marketing; represent to executives.
  • Offer patterns and trends applicable across industry segments to accelerate innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology
  • 7+ years in business development, partnership management, or new business sourcing
  • Experience using managed ML/AI solutions
  • Experience cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams
  • Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery; or deploying ML systems for large-scale optimizations
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts

Preferred

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • 7+ years working with AI researchers, academic programs, and open-source communities
  • 7+ years managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and managing stakeholders
  • 7+ years with GenAI/LLM in a business development/partner capacity
