Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Prioritize division marketing projects for assigned communities to ensure deadlines are met; manage multiple projects from start to finish including directional signage, MLS listings, RichmondAmerican.com listings, print collateral and e-blast messaging
  • Communication: Act as the marketing lead and primary liaison between Division/Sales and National Marketing; coordinate marketing, communications and advertising efforts; work with sales associates to implement programs and community standards; keep all parties informed of current marketing initiatives
  • Events/Promotions Strategy: Collaborate to create and execute consumer and broker outreach programs
  • Budgeting: Maintain divisional marketing budget, process invoices and track expenses; ensure expenditures stay within budget
  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Work with division Sales team to drive traffic and sales; bring ideas, identify issues and opportunities, and propose solutions
  • Results Orientation: Track marketing initiatives and analyze effectiveness; develop and implement best practice marketing processes
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors as appropriate
  • Scope: Travel 2-3 days weekly in the field touring communities; reliable transportation required

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • plus 5-7 years of field marketing experience at minimum
  • Knowledge of strategic field marketing and tactics including; signage, print, online and event marketing
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and intermediate computer experience (broad understanding of Internet, MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Position requires high energy, creativity, and ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Must have the ability to think critically and make decisions
  • Real estate marketing experience preferred
