Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Head of Wellness to support the strategic direction and continued growth of the Wellness division, helping to drive client success, team development, and innovative opportunities within the space.
• Lead creative and strategic client planning initiatives from concept through execution to achieve client goals.
• Demonstrate strong contacts and relationships with editorial media across the wellness, lifestyle, beauty, and consumer industries, with a proven track record of securing quality placements.
• Pitch stories, build talking points, compose media releases, and secure business features, brand features, trend stories, profile pieces, and award opportunities.
• Serve as the final reviewer for all client and press-related content, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Act as a senior client leader by providing strategic counsel, leading client communications, and driving larger editorial and thought leadership initiatives aligned with each client's brand voice.
• Lead client meetings, media briefings, interviews, desksides, activations, and presentations.
• Oversee activation strategies, including budgets, timelines, execution, and recap reporting.
• Conceptualize and oversee paid and organic influencer and tastemaker programs that drive awareness and measurable results.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with influencers, talent, media, and industry partners while expanding Studio Beauty's network.

Requirements

• At least 8–10 years of experience in wellness, beauty, or consumer communications.
• Previous experience managing teams and overseeing multiple client accounts.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to work well under pressure and independently.
• Deep understanding of the wellness industry.
• Established relationships with top-tier wellness, health, lifestyle, and consumer media, with a proven ability to secure impactful earned media coverage and identify compelling story angles.
• Experience developing strategic PR campaigns for wellness brands, including product launches, founder thought leadership, and brand storytelling that drives awareness and industry credibility
• Action-oriented, resourceful, and creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, manage multiple personalities, and oversee several clients simultaneously.
