Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set and oversee strategic planning direction for complex, multi-channel media programs that fuel business growth for high-value clients.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor, fostering senior client partnerships through thought leadership, proactive problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Lead the delivery of integrated, insight-driven recommendations and high-impact presentations for C-suite and senior-level client stakeholders.
  • Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring all campaigns are optimized through data analysis, market intelligence, and performance tracking.
  • Guide client business development, identifying and proposing opportunities to expand partnerships and unlock new value.
  • Inspire, lead, and mentor large multidisciplinary planning teams, cultivating a culture of ambition, ownership, and high performance.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration with activation, analytics, strategy, and creative to deliver best-in-class integrated solutions.
  • Drive operational excellence through streamlined processes, clear standards, and advocacy for the latest OMG planning tools and practices.
  • Support the recruitment, retention, and career advancement of top planning talent; serve as a mentor and sponsor for up-and-coming leaders.
  • Champion the adoption of new capabilities, technologies, and industry trends, positioning teams and clients at the forefront of emerging media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive media planning experience, including demonstrated leadership of large teams and complex accounts within an agency setting.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver robust, innovative media strategies for high-profile, multifaceted client portfolios.
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and a record of translating insight into business-driving strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and essential media industry tools.
  • Track record of operational excellence, process improvement, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • A passion for mentorship, people development, and fostering diverse, high-performing teams.
