Responsibilities

• The Sr. Director of Marketing, through practical and visionary leadership, is responsible for defining and executing the overall Harvard Bioscience marketing vision and commercialization strategy to drive successful brand performance, launch readiness market shaping, long-term business growth.
• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across the team and key cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment of the Harvard Bioscience brand positioning, segmentation, messaging, customer services and business objectives across the organization.
• This leader will be responsible for lifecycle planning, launch execution, organizational capability, building and developing high-impact marketing strategies grounded deeply within the life science tool space.
• Lead and development and execution of the Harvard Bioscience vision and commercial strategy in partnership with other key cross functional leaders.
• Drive launch readiness, market shaping, existing product performance, lifecycle planning and customer engagement strategies across the Harvard Bioscience organization.
• Oversee integrated go-to-market planning and applications education, engagement and field readiness initiatives.
• Build and maintain a high-performing commercial culture focused on purpose-driven executional excellence and sustainable business performance.
• Lead the evolution of Harvard Bioscience marketing capabilities, processes and organizational efficiencies to support launch excellence and long-term growth.
• Drive integrated customer engagement strategies tailored to life science tools industry.
• Leverage data, analytics, and customer insights to optimize marketing performance and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, marketing or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in life science tools, biopharmaceutical, commercial experience sales, marketing, market access or launch commercialization.
• 10 years of specialty brand marketing experience, digital marketing,
• 5 years of leadership experience developing high-performing teams.
• travel 10% - 25%

Preferred

• MBA or advanced scientific degree. Preferred.
