Job Description

Own the organization\'s external and internal storytelling, media relations, and brand governance with a CEO/Board advisory role; align marketing with mission; drive digital strategy and donor communications.

  • Develop a comprehensive mission-consistent marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to the CEO and Board on communications strategy, reputation management, and public messaging.
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone, and visual identity across all communications.
  • Oversee brand positioning and storytelling reflecting organizational values and commitment to serving those in need.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns that promote program growth, public awareness, advocacy, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and oversight of creative development across print, digital, video, and social media for consistent messaging.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive media strategy with measurable targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with CEO and outside PR to ensure consistency in marketing communications and public relations efforts.
  • Lead internal and external communications, including announcements, executive messaging, speeches, and presentations.
  • Serve as point person for media relations, including press outreach, inquiries, interviews, and crisis communications.
