Job Summary

Drive the growth engine by building a scalable content and community program that activates agents and landlords, converting learnings into activation and referrals.

  • Must-have: 5–10+ years in content marketing or community roles in SaaS/proptech or B2B2C.
  • Standout: Experience launching and scaling advocacy programs (online communities, ambassador programs, creator partnerships).
  • Standout: Builds repeatable content systems with editorial, production, distribution, and measurement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build the Content Engine (end-to-end)
  • Own content strategy across agents and landlords (B2C): develop an integrated content and distribution plan across education, testimonials, social content, webinars, customer advocacy video content, and community loops designed to drive flywheel momentum—not just awareness.
  • Create scalable content that drives “Learn → Activate → Refer”: translate core product value and best practices into content that improves conversion, activation, and retention across both flywheels.
  • Stand up repeatable production systems: build an editorial calendar, templates, a lightweight content ops system, and a measurable distribution plan (email, social, webinars, partner channels, in-product placements as applicable). You use AI wherever possible to speed up but do not use it to compromise on trust and authenticity.
  • Drive durable growth through community, influence, and trust
  • Launch and scale community programs that deepen engagement with agents and landlords—starting small, learning fast, and building repeatable loops that support acquisition and retention.
  • Build a nano-influencer + customer advocate motion: recruit, enable, and activate credible voices (agents + landlords) to create trusted content, testimonials, and co-marketing moments.
  • Develop a customer proof engine: systematically source and ship case studies, quotes, reviews, and short-form proof assets that support growth campaigns, lifecycle journeys, sales enablement, and product launches.
  • Partner tightly with Growth, PMM, Product, Data, and Sales
  • Collaborate on a flywheel-aligned roadmap: partner with Growth Marketing, Insights/Experimentation, PMM, and Product to ensure content + community efforts map to the highest-leverage opportunities and key metrics.
  • Operate with experimentation rigor: define hypotheses, run tests, and iterate content/community motions based on performance and learnings—building a playbook the org can scale.
  • Support brand elevation through bold, dynamic storytelling: help shift market perception of RentSpree beyond a point solution through clear, trusted, and differentiated narratives and customer stories.
  • Use AI to scale output (responsibly)
  • Our job descriptions evolve with our business needs and priorities. In addition to the description above, your role may include additional tasks, projects and team support as needed.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in content marketing, community, editorial, creator/influencer, or integrated marketing roles —ideally within SaaS, proptech, fintech, or marketplace / B2B2C or B2C businesses.
  • Proven experience building repeatable content systems (not one-off campaigns): editorial strategy, production, distribution, and measurement.
  • Strong instincts for trust-building storytelling : customer proof, testimonials, case studies, creator partnerships, and narrative development that moves adoption—not just engagement.
  • Experience launching and scaling community or advocacy programs (online communities, webinar programs, ambassador programs, creator/influencer programs, customer councils).
  • Comfort partnering cross-functionally with Growth, PMM, Product, Sales, and Data—and translating priorities into content and programs that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong writing + editorial judgment , with the ability to adapt voice across personas (agents vs. landlords) and formats (short-form, long-form, scripts, live/webinar).
  • AI fluency: hands-on use of AI tools/workflows to accelerate production, repurposing, and insights—brand-safe and quality-driven.

Preferred

  • Take full ownership and accountability: Drives projects from idea to execution, with pride, urgency, and a “do what it takes” mentality.
  • Collaborate with clarity, candor, and respect: Communicate openly and courageously, offer and receive feedback well, and build trust through transparency and reliable partnership.
  • Strive for excellence while staying humble: Driven with a bias for action, hold a high bar, think critically, and continuously look to improve.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $150k - 200k base dependent upon experience and leveling
  • Equity Options: Share in the value we’re creating—your work makes a real impact.
  • Team-First Culture: Join a group of talented, supportive teammates who inspire each other to do their best work and celebrate every win.
  • Learning & Development: Ongoing support for your growth through resources, coaching, and career development opportunities.
  • Health Coverage: Comprehensive employee + dependent medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus HSA/FSA options and perks.
  • Plan for your future: Life, disability, and Simple IRA retirement plan with company match.
  • Flexible Vacation Policy: We trust you to take the time you need to rest and recharge.
  • Holidays: 12 holidays per year.
  • Events: Team lunches, game nights, and events, in-person and remote.
  • Recognition Programs: Sprees and S.P.R.E.E. Awards with spot bonuses and work anniversary tokens.
  • Business Expense Allowance & Internet Reimbursement
  • Parental Leave & Fertility Support
  • Legal & tax benefits
  • Seattle HQ: Orca card for commuting if working from Seattle office
