Job Summary

Own the governance and execution of quarterly earnings messaging with tight cross-functional coordination and audience-targeted content across press, scripts, Q&A, and internal comms.

  • Earnings communications: coordinate timelines, reviews, and approvals.
  • Content creation: press releases, executive scripts, talking points, Q&A, and internal updates.
  • Cross-functional alignment: partner with IR, Finance, Legal, SEC Reporting and senior stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistent messaging.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of quarterly earnings communications and coordinating stakeholder reviews and approvals.
  • Develop clear earnings content including press releases, executive scripts, Q&A, talking points, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, SEC Reporting and senior leaders to ensure accuracy and audience alignment.
  • Develop always-on financial communications content (explainers, fact sheets, multimedia content, blogs, social posts and web materials) that amplifies MetLife’s strategy and performance.
  • Monitor media, analyst commentary, and market trends to inform proactive messaging during key milestones or high-interest periods.
