Own the bridge between brand and sales, turning strategy into revenue-driving trade plans, and lead cross-functional execution to hit annual targets.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Translate brand plans into actionable sales, trade objectives, forecasts, portfolio strategy, and innovation to hit the annual plan.
  • Manage overall business performance to deliver annual revenue and profit targets.
  • Develop annual plans, set objectives and allocate resources to guide customer plans for brand growth.
  • Monitor performance, identify key drivers, and translate into in-year actions for demand and supply planning.
  • Take an end-to-end view: translate brand plans into sales/trade objectives that achieve in-year deliverables; shape forecasts and PPA/RGM; liaise with sales continuously.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, with heavy emphasis on field customer teams; strong project management across multiple initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely in writing and presentations; executive-ready communication.
  • Analyze and leverage syndicated data, Customer POS, SPARK History, and shopper data to identify business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience of increasing leadership responsibility in CPG marketing, Sales, Sales Planning, Marketing or related functions
  • 3+ years of people management and/or cross functional team leadership
  • Experience in a matrix environment w/ multiple stakeholders, w/ demonstrated leadership & collaboration skills
  • Experience in brand management and consumer marketing expertise a plus
  • Experience specific to category development and shopper marketing
  • Experience making strategic and tactical decisions utilizing fact-based data
  • Direct account selling and sales management experience preferred
  • General Management and P&L decision making perspective
  • Ability to establish relationships with both customers and with internal functions
  • Complete understanding of sales policies and organization skills
Preferred
  • Experience in consumer goods sector in matrix environment
  • Thought leadership to inform brand strategies, annual commercial plan, selling stories, integrated business planning (forecasting)
  • Brand management and consumer marketing expertise a plus
