Job Summary

Own cross channel digital media planning and buying with a focus on acquisition and brand, align with traditional planners, and drive measurable outcomes across TV 2.0, gaming, and mobile formats.

  • Own the digital media plan recommendations and success metrics for all programs.
  • Coordinate with traditional planning and buying teams to ensure synergy and effective execution.
  • Negotiate and buy approved digital media programs and optimize ongoing performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Areas of focus will be: web advertising (acquisition and brand), broadband (video, new forms of broadband connections), and any/all other platforms that evolve in the digital space (gaming, web-based magazine, etc.)
  • Exposure to emerging media particularly of TV 2.0 (Video on Demand, Digital Video Recorder and others), gaming, and mobile work
  • Develop digital media plan recommendations based on integrated communication planning processes
  • Connect with traditional planning & buying teams to ensure ideal synergy is delivered
  • Negotiate and buy approved digital media plan programs
  • Develop success metrics/measurement goals for all digital programs
  • Report on and optimizing digital programs on an ongoing basis

Requirements

  • 1+ years of online/digital media planning and implementation expertise
  • Acquisition and branding background experience and familiarity/proficiency with the following systems/tools is preferred:
  • Prisma, Mediaocean, MBOX
  • Nielsen Net Rating, Comscore, AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester
  • Third-party ad measurement and traffic tools (e.g. Integral Ad Science)
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Prisma (media management tool)
  • Proficient understanding of third-party ad measurement and trafficking tools (e.g. Integral Ad Science)
  • Strong oral/written communication and negotiation skills
