Responsibilities

• Maintain solid beauty and business/trade editors and influencers in the beauty space
• Handle important client communications and continually raise the bar across all initiatives, press, influencer and experiential activations by running meetings and conference calls in a professional, educational and confident manner
• Maintain client relationships and expectations; delivering top notch assignments on time while managing project expectations
• Monitor media, beauty and general lifestyle trends; ensuring the team creates new strategies and pitch angles, and reports ever changing landscapes to clients
• Experience with influencer marketing including VIP mailers, partnerships, and events
• Oversee coverage platforms to increase analytic reporting for clients and campaigns
• Creative mindset, constantly churning out innovative ideas for projects and story angles
• Escalate client needs and expectations to leadership as needed
• Create an inspiring workplace environment with an open communication culture
• Mentor, lead and guide a team of SAEs, AEs, and Coordinators with a positive attitude and professional tone

Requirements

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comprehensive experience in Beauty Public Relations
• Proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering results
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to work proactively and lead a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Extensive Beauty PR Experience, Strong Leadership Skills, Organization, Tenacity, Creativity.
• 5+ years full-time working experience in Beauty PR.
• Agency experience and currently live in the NY Metropolitan area.
• Established relationships with top-tier media outlets including Byrdie, Allure, WWD, Glossy, Elle, Vogue, POPSUGAR, Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, InStyle, The Wall Street Journal, etc.
