Job Summary

Own and drive end-to-end PR programs that shape client narratives across healthcare and health-tech, aligning media, thought leadership, and measured outcomes.

  • Lead media relations, analyst coverage, awards, speaking engagements, and content strategies for priority clients.
  • Manage multi-month campaigns with timelines, budgets, and client communications, delivering proactive coverage and measurable ROI.
  • Develop quarterly PR plans and themes that incorporate industry trends and leadership storytelling for targeted audiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead tactical execution of key PR program elements including media relations, analyst relations, awards, speaking, and content.
  • Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead regular client communications, including owning and facilitating weekly PR calls and check-ins.
  • Serve as a reliable, go-to resource for clients, offering strategic counsel—even under high-pressure or reactive circumstances.
  • Develop and present quarterly campaigns and PR plans, incorporating creative themes, industry trends, and thought leadership.
  • Track competitor activity and identify timely opportunities for client commentary and positioning.
  • Participate in media training sessions, developing key messages and handling all session follow-up.
  • Develop budget recommendations and team priority allocations to support client needs.
  • Own and lead media relations efforts, with strong existing relationships across at least 10 key healthcare, health-tech, and business publications.
  • Consistently develop and deliver proactive, creative pitches that generate coverage and drive results for clients and the agency.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting (required)
  • Background in healthcare, health-tech, life sciences, or medical technology sectors
  • Demonstrated success in developing media relationships and securing impactful placements
  • Strong writing and editing skills across a variety of formats and audiences
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and leading day-to-day client work
  • Comfort with data, analytics, and ROI reporting
  • A growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and desire to lead within a team environment
