Job Summary

Own racing program delivery from strategy to on-site execution, coordinating budgets, vendors, and multi-person teams to land motorsports activations that hit client objectives.

  • Project ownership: lead proposals, budgets, staff, and vendor coordination for complex sports marketing programs.
  • Client program direction: shape strategy and ensure delivery across motorsports, trade shows, and events.
  • Operational acceleration: drive planning, problem solving, and fast adaptation in a high-speed environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • With direction from the Account Director, manage complex accounts and is responsible for total project management: proposal, program implementation, and management of budget and staff.
  • Work with clients to determine, develop and accomplish strategies and objectives for their programs.
  • Take the lead on research, planning, and implementation of client activities, especially focused on sports car and off-road racing programs.
  • Take the initiative in moving projects forward, and anticipating next steps, solving problems proactively, and adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment, often with minimal direction.
  • Oversee or execute event logistics, including vendor coordination, on-site setup and strike, and event staff supervision.
  • Provide guidance and direction to Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives assigned to projects.
  • Serve as a welcoming and professional host for clients and guests at racing events-representing the brand with enthusiasm and authenticity.
  • Assist in developing creative marketing concepts tailored to the motorsport's audience and event opportunities.
  • Must be able to prepare and manage budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of program costs.
  • Coordinate and attend planning meetings, develop agendas, and ensure clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor´s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, brand activations, or experiential promotions. Motorsports experience is a major plus!
  • Experience with Contest & Incentive programs and/or B2B sales promotions.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills, especially in business correspondence.
  • Ability to work on a variety of types of programs including, but not limited to motorsports, trade shows, diversity-based programs, and outdoor festivals.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, while being adaptable in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills necessary to build and maintain client relations and build project teams.
  • Ability to utilize personal strengths and weaknesses to advance competency and grow professionally.
  • Strong organizational, budgeting and time management skills.
