Job Description

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to execute strategic communications programs and effectively report results
Draft, edit, and develop high-quality press materials including media alerts, press releases, and briefing documents
Pitch media and secure top-tier coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and influencer channels for campaigns, product launches, events, philanthropic initiatives, and brand stories
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry tastemakers
Maintain a finger on the pulse; deliver always-on creative thinking across partnerships, stunts, social opportunities, trendjacking and strategic alliances
Monitor media trends and identify opportunities for client inclusion through timely outreach and creative storytelling

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a PR agency or in-house communications role, with a focus on consumer brands
Experience in corporate communications and/or executive visibility (e.g., speaking opportunities, awards, thought leadership, newsjacking) is a strong plus
Deep familiarity with talent, pop culture, cultural moments, and social trends
Experience with event logistics, production and execution
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Demonstrated success collaborating across teams, including multi-office and cross-functional environments
Comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior-level clients and executives
Actively participate in new business
