Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute local SEO strategies for HVAC and plumbing clients
- Perform keyword research focused on buyer intent and service-area targeting
- Build and optimize service pages and geo-location pages
- Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate implementation with our dev team
- Analyze competitor performance and identify ranking opportunities
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions and adjust strategy accordingly
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and paid media specialists
- Contribute to ongoing SEO process improvement and innovation
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO and local SEO fundamentals
- Experience with tools such as Cora, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, etc.
- Working knowledge of technical SEO concepts
- Comfortable editing HTML/CSS directly to implement SEO improvements (title tags/meta, heading structure, internal linking, canonical tags, structured data, and basic layout/content updates).
- Strong written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, in-office team environment
- Experience in home services or local service-based businesses is a strong plus.
