Job Summary

Own the local cannabis brand presence and activation engine for a New Orleans metro footprint, driving foot traffic, partnerships, and compliant activations across multiple locations.

  • Foot-traffic and activation: execute street teams, pop-ups, events, and activations with consistent brand delivery.
  • Partnerships and local alignment: build relationships with local businesses, vendors, and community groups to extend reach.
  • Compliance and execution: ensure in-market marketing stays compliant with regulations and coordinates with regional teams for accurate campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute local marketing initiatives designed to drive foot traffic, brand awareness, and patient growth across all locations.
  • Serve as the boots-on-the-ground brand representative, overseeing event setups, supporting activations, and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Coordinate street team efforts, pop-up events, and community partnerships from conception through completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, vendors, and community stakeholders.
  • Support store openings, seasonal promotions, and day-to-day in-market marketing needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all regional campaigns are executed accurately and effectively.
  • Identify and propose out-of-home (OOH) advertising opportunities to the regional brand and marketing leadership.
  • Monitor performance trends, sharing insights and proactive ideas to continuously improve results.
  • Ensure all marketing activities remain fully compliant with state and local cannabis regulations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of marketing experience (backgrounds in retail, hospitality, or events are a plus)
  • A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and thrives with autonomy
  • Comfortable working frequently in the field and traveling between locations
  • Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • An excellent communicator capable of building rapport quickly and representing the brand with professionalism
  • Motivated by tangible results and dynamic, high-energy work settings
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required for events or activations
  • Proficient in social media platforms and digital engagement
  • Market Presence: This role requires a regular on-site presence in the New Orleans metro area. Candidates must reside locally or be willing to relocate to the market.
