Job Summary

Own and operate the executive communications engine for the CEO, leading narrative development, media placement across TV and broadcast, content workflows, and cross‑functional collaboration to protect and advance the CEO’s platform and reputation.

  • Lead the CEO's narrative and media strategy across editorial, broadcast, and social channels.
  • Drive editorial cadence, measurement, and cross‑functional partnership with Comms, PR, Marketing, Legal, and IR.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in executive communications, PR, media relations, or strategic communications with direct CEO/C-suite support experience.
  • Proven ability to secure top-tier earned media, including experience managing broadcast/TV opportunities.
  • Exceptional executive writing/editing skills—can draft quickly, clearly, and in an authentic CEO voice.
  • Strong editorial judgment and news instincts; ability to identify and create compelling story angles.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management (Office of the CEO, Comms, PR, Marketing, Legal, IR).

Preferred

  • Experience in B2B technology; data/analytics/AI/enterprise software strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with priority reporters/producers (or a track record of building them quickly).
  • Experience building modern executive social strategy that drives credibility, trust, and talent impact.
  • Narrative clarity: can create a durable CEO platform that differentiates Alteryx
  • Media instincts: knows what is truly newsworthy and how to package it
  • Operating discipline: can run a tight editorial cadence and keep teams aligned
  • Executive presence: can advise the CEO with confidence and tact
  • Speed + judgment: can move fast without introducing risk
