  • Draft and coordinate localized internal communications, facility-wide executive updates, and employee-facing messaging

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day local public relations, narrative management, and reputation protection strategies for all assigned hospital facilities
  • Serve as the immediate, on-the-ground communication consultant and advisory partner to Hospital Presidents and facility executive teams within the designated cluster
  • Collaborate closely with the AVP, Regional Communications and other regional leads in an effort to align overall department and communication strategy and cascade messaging throughout the regional structure
  • Partner directly with facility-level Regional Marketing Leads to ensure local clinical promotions and consumer events are paired with earned media coverage and reputational readiness
  • Direct localized rapid-response communication, on-site issue mitigation, and information verification for facility-specific crises, incident responses, or media inquiries under the guidance of the regional leader
  • Draft and coordinate localized internal communications, facility-wide executive updates, and employee-facing messaging that do not meet the enterprise campaign threshold
  • Gather facility-level clinical insights, medical milestones, and local data to build high-quality strategic briefs for submission into the centralized automated single front door intake system
  • Enforce departmental lines in the sand at the facility level, ensuring communications resources are completely protected from executive administrative assistant duties, unaligned local campaigns, or low-scale event planning
  • Map facility-level communication updates onto the Integrated System Calendar and coordinate with the Weekly Editorial Council pipeline to maintain a single, consistent corporate voice
  • Monitor local media coverage, compile facility sentiment analyses, and track local communication metrics to report regional effectiveness to the Regional Communication Leader
