Public Relations Sr Account Supervisor, B2B Tech

Responsibilities

• Maintain a holistic view of the account, managing and moving all aspects forward whether or not directly owning, ensuring all account programs and activities are on track and map back to client goals.
• Drives the day to day and serves as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Supervises the work of account team members by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
• Drafts the first version of large campaign and yearly plans for clients; pulling in VPs/digital resources/peers to build out and finalize.
• Consults with clients on media strategy and approach for announcements and story pitching; delivers media strategy documents to clients autonomously.
• Runs client launches and news announcements with support from team and media experts.
• Identifies trend stories, executive features and client/product spotlights -- land stories individually + direct teams in their pitching/to achieve results.
• Pitches stories to both national and local media.
• Writes strong client-ready media documents (pitches, releases, Q&As, blog posts, newsletters, long- and short-form articles, social media posts) that require minimal edits from VPs.
• Develop, draft and execute executive communication programs including conducting interviews, defining content strategy, identifying content pillars, writing key messages and recommending content approaches.

Requirements

• 56-8 yrs of PR experience with at least 3 yrs working at a PR agency, a solid understanding of the overall technology industry, B2B tech experience and deep relationships with tech media that have resulted in significant coverage for clients.
