Public Relations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Rohadfox Construction Control Services is currently looking for a Public Outreach Specialist l who will provide communications, outreach, and administrative support for the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP) Roadways and Enabling Projects (Century Beautification, Airport Gateway, various Airport Landside projects, etc.).
• You will be reporting to the Public Information Specialist II.
• You will assist with the implementation of public information and community outreach initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, public notifications, and project communications.
• Supports efforts to maintain accurate, timely, and consistent communication with project stakeholders, community members, businesses, and the public throughout project planning, design, and construction activities.

Requirements

• Experience in public outreach, public relations, communications, community engagement, or a related field.
• Experience supporting public infrastructure, transportation, aviation, construction, or government projects preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and quality control abilities.
• Ability to interact professionally with community members, businesses, agencies, elected officials, and project stakeholders.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and stakeholder relations skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Construction project experience preferred.

Preferred

• Relevant certifications in communications, public engagement, marketing, or project management are desirable.
