Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist with approved public relations projects and campaigns
- Support writing and content development (press releases, digital content, social media)
- Help maintain media lists, historical archives, and PR tracking
- Contribute to digital communication and marketing efforts
- Collaborate with team members on communication initiatives
Requirements
- Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in public relations, communications, advertising, journalism, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Interest in writing, video, social media, and digital communication
- Able to follow safety standards and work well on a team
- Paid through a temporary employment agency; must meet agency and Blue Ridge Energy requirements
- Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Some local travel and occasional after-hours work may be required
- Preference for candidates within a reasonable driving distance of our corporate office
