Job Summary

Drive fashion and luxury PR by securing placements, activating editor relationships, and coordinating influencer partnerships, while managing retail-focused events and ongoing media monitoring to build sustained brand coverage.

  • Coordinate trunk shows, store openings, VIP experiences, and retail partnerships to fuel press activity
  • Maintain media lists, track coverage, and report competitive activity

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Pitch fashion and luxury clients to top-tier publications, securing meaningful placements
  • Activate existing relationships with editors, journalists, and stylists to generate coverage opportunities
  • Identify and engage KOLs and influencers for brand partnership campaigns
  • Research retail opportunities across department stores, boutiques, and e-commerce platforms
  • Support planning and execution of trunk shows, store openings, and VIP client experiences
  • Draft compelling press releases, media alerts, and personalized pitch materials
  • Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns for fashion and luxury clients
  • Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings, coverage reports, and competitive analysis
  • Maintain and expand media lists and press databases with active contacts
  • Coordinate sample trafficking and manage showroom operations

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in fashion or luxury PR with a proven track record of securing media placements
  • Established relationships with fashion and lifestyle editors, journalists, stylists, and KOLs
  • Active network of influencers and content creators in the fashion and luxury space
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape, trunk show operations, and event coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive pitching and storytelling abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office, social media platforms, and PR databases such as Cision or Meltwater
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field
