Responsibilities

• - Serve as the primary PR lead for assigned client accounts
• - Develop and pitch creative, strategic story ideas to local, national, and trade media
• - Write and edit press releases, bylines, pitches, award submissions, and other copy
• - Build and maintain strong media relationships
• - Coordinate interviews, TV segments, and in-studio appearances
• - Attend client meetings, events, grand openings, and milestones
• - Track coverage and compile monthly reports using media monitoring tools
• - Research industry trends, competitors, and timely news angles
• - Prepare client summaries and lead executive-level discussions
• - Represent local and national brands with professionalism and confidence

Requirements

• Residence in the Phoenix metro area (local candidates only)
• 2+ years of professional PR experience , agency background strongly preferred
• Proven success pitching media and securing coverage
• Strong writing and editing skills with solid AP style knowledge
• Strategic thinker with sound judgment and leadership instincts
• Collaborative team player who takes ownership of accounts
• Natural storyteller with curiosity and creativity
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
• Strong command of AP-style writing and editing
