Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day contact for client accounts, ensuring smooth execution of PR, community engagement and brand initiatives.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with the development and execution of public relations strategies that support client goals and drive local market impact.
• Builds and maintains lists for media and social media influencers across markets.
• Coordinates social media influencer partnerships on behalf of the client.
• Leverages existing media relationships and cultivates new contacts locally and within business and industry media.
• Identify and execute community engagement opportunities that elevate brand presence and strengthen local relationships.
• Support and help lead community activations, charitable initiatives and local partnerships on behalf of the brand.
• Coordinate and execute events including grand openings, media events, check presentations and community activations.
• Provide on-site support for client events, media interviews and key brand moments.

Requirements

• Based in Salt Lake City, UT (with local travel required)
• A degree in journalism, marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in public relations or marketing (agency experience preferred)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Great at time management and multitasking.
• Comfortable leading client calls and presenting to groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills
