Role Description
K+Co is looking for an Account Executive and/or a Senior Account Executive to join our growing New York team. This role will support and lead media and influencer relations efforts across a dynamic portfolio of lifestyle clients ranging from emerging startups to established brands.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about media, pop culture, and brand storytelling. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and have experience managing multiple client initiatives simultaneously.
Previous agency experience strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day client communication and manage account deliverables
- Participate in brainstorming and executing strategic PR campaigns and initiatives
- Develop PR materials including press releases, pitches, media alerts, founder bios, and proposals
- Lead proactive media outreach across print, digital, broadcast, podcast, and influencer platforms
- Secure meaningful media coverage and build relationships with editors, producers, influencers, and tastemakers
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met
- Conduct research, fact-checking, and provide thoughtful feedback on client materials
- Monitor media, cultural, and industry trends to identify timely opportunities for clients
- Support events, launches, influencer partnerships, and brand activations as needed
- Collaborate on new business opportunities and agency brainstorms
- Senior-level candidates will also help mentor and oversee junior staff workflows
What You Bring
- 3–6+ years of relevant PR and/or Influencer Relations experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proven media placement experience across fashion, lifestyle, wellness, or consumer brands
- Existing media and influencer relationships
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A strong interest in fashion, lifestyle, culture, wellness, entertainment, and current trends
- A proactive, creative, “go above and beyond” mentality
