Drive workforce communications as the part-time Communications Coordinator, leading Lancaster County initiatives and partner visibility.

  • Own website updates and coordination with a managed service provider.
  • Must-have: at least three years of related communications experience.
  • Strong in Canva, social platforms, and producing outreach content and newsletters.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages and updates the WDB website. Coordinates with website managed service provider.
  • Assists with the management of the Career Ready Lancaster! Website. Coordinates with website managed service provider.
  • Plans and executes social media (FB, LinkedIn) strategy including posts and analytics with expectations of 3-5 posts per week.
  • Creates visual outreach content when needed including social media graphics, outreach material such as flyers, social media posts, event support, etc.
  • Designs and creates an Annual Report to be distributed in September.
  • Writes and distributes bi-monthly newsletter.
  • Attends community events as needed to publicize partnerships.
  • Writes and distributes press releases as requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience using skill sets described above required.
  • Proficient in use of Canva, social media platforms, and related software.
  • Part-time capacity of up to 20 hours per week

Preferred

  • Associates Degree in related field is preferred.
