Job Description

Agency Noir is an independent creative agency in Seattle. We’re a small team making a big impact for our clients. We are relentless in our focus on craft, quality, and powerful storytelling.

The Role

You own delivery for every project: campaign, brand, digital, event, and video, from signed SOW to final invoice. You are the client's day-to-day contact on the work, the creative and production teams’ advocate and memory, and the person who knows where every dollar and every deadline lives. You will help define project scope, timeline, and budgets; manage margins and client expectations; and establish the systems to operationalize your approach for Noir. Ultimately, you ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, that budget and margin are real, and that all of our work is delivered on time.

What You’ll Do

  • Run all active projects start-to-finish.
  • Own client communication on process: timelines, rounds of review, scope, what we need, and when.
  • Own project budgets from estimate through reconciliation: not just "tracking the budget," but actively finding where margin lives and protecting it.
  • Set and enforce review rounds so the creative team gets the time they need and clients know exactly what to expect.
  • Resource projects. Match staff and freelancers to the work, and manage utilization across the bench.
  • Operationalize process, including project intake, briefs, status cadence, and post-mortems.
  • Flag risk early and loudly: scope creep, timeline slips, budget burn.

What You’ve Done

  • 6+ years in project or program management at a creative or production agency. You've delivered integrated campaigns, not just single deliverables.
  • Independent agency experience required. You've worked at an indie shop where there was no holding-company machine behind you. You know what it means to build the process yourself and wear multiple hats.
  • Experience working with enterprise tech clients required. You've delivered work for large enterprise clients and can navigate what comes with them: procurement, MSAs, multi-stakeholder reviews, brand and legal approval cycles, and long payment terms.
  • Managed client relationships directly, including hard conversations about scope and rounds.
  • Owned P&L or margin responsibility on your projects and can talk specifically about how you protected it.
  • Fluent in estimating creative work across disciplines: campaign, brand, digital, event, and video.

Who Thrives Here

People who are allergic to bureaucracy and obsessed with clarity. You don't need a hall pass to fix something broken. You can hold your own with a strong CD and a strong client on the same call. You think "on time, on budget" is table stakes and "under budget with a happy client and proud creative team" is the actual job.

Salary range: $85,000–$110,000 DOE + benefits

Experience really does matter with our range.
