Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements communication strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Handles internal communication efforts to ensure staff is informed and engaged.
- Creates and handles the production of quality content for various communication channels.
- Plans and coordinates events, including press conferences, health fairs, and community outreach programs.
- Leads the review and approval of development/fundraising communications.
- Identifies and develops new vehicles to tell engaging stories and shares best practices with the public, media, and entire community to build relationships.
- Monitors and analyzes developments and issues in health systems to ensure they are appropriately addressed and articulated.
- Leads and mentors the communication team, providing guidance and support.
- Ensures all communication efforts comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field (Required)
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience, or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- Minimum of 7 Years of Experience in communications or a related field (Required)
- Healthcare experience required
- News Media experience required
