Job Description
The Program Manager, Internal Communications plays an important role in helping employees stay informed and connected to key areas across the co-op, including HR, AI, IT, and Impact. You’ll work closely with leaders to create clear, meaningful communications that explain what we’re doing, why it matters, and how employees can engage.
You bring complex, cross-functional work together into simple, clear messages that support awareness, alignment, and adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities
- Act as the primary communications partner for major initiatives across HR, AI, IT, and Impact. Lead end-to-end communication strategies to ensure consistency and alignment across teams
- Partner with leaders to connect initiatives into a clear, cohesive enterprise narrative
- Develop integrated communication plans aligned with business priorities and key moments
- Coordinate timing and messaging across initiatives to improve clarity and reduce noise
- Translate complex topics into accessible, engaging content for diverse employee audiences
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications (or related field)
- Exceptional emotional intelligence with a track record of navigating complex organizational dynamics and building trusted advisory relationships. Must be able to influence without authority.
- Proven experience managing communications for complex, cross-functional programs
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical or policy-driven content into clear messaging
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including HR and business leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and program management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting HR programs (benefits, talent, learning, employee experience)
- Experience with technology, digital transformation, or AI-related initiatives
- Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with distributed teams
- Familiarity with multi-channel internal communications approaches
- Experience supporting leader communications and enterprise-wide moments
