Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan, and ensure the effective implementation of the US go-to market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning
  • Product portfolio management such as pricing strategy, inventory strategy, KPI reporting, local market offering, product gap analysis/business cases, sales and promotion tools, internal and external trainings, strong technical presence
  • Collaborate with division Global Product Managers on local standards and installation norms to ensure local product market acceptance and drive new product/feature development based on local market needs and trends
  • Drives sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product and application knowledge (technical and commercial) for each Sales team. Ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
  • Gather voice of customer (VOC) and market needs; strategize and implement annual marketing plans in conjunction with US customer experience team, communication teams and Business Units/Product Groups
  • Coordinate with cross functional and cross division product marketing, sales team members and operations team to define appropriate forecasts and inventory positioning

Requirements

  • Engineering Bachelors degree is required.
  • Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Product Management or Product Marketing Management in a related Electrical products/application industry
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allow them to work for ABB in United States without sponsorship
