Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and segmentation strategies that support business growth and member engagement
  • Take new products and features from 0 to 1, from market sizing through go-to-market execution and launch
  • Partner with Analytics to define success metrics ahead of launch and track performance against them post-launch
  • Plan and execute paid and lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention across new lending products
  • Partner with Business, Product, Analytics, Research, Compliance, Legal, and Marketing to bring customer-informed strategies to market
  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence product and marketing decisions
  • Create messaging frameworks, launch materials, creative briefs that support consistent customer experiences
  • Measure campaign and product performance, evaluate experiments, and use AI where useful to accelerate analysis and improve the quality of your own work

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product marketing experience, bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in financial services, banking, lending, or fintech, with an understanding of the regulatory and compliance considerations that shape customer marketing
  • Experience taking products from concept to launch in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Strong analytical and customer research skills with the ability to turn insights into clear, independent business recommendations
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functions and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling customer messaging
  • You actively look for ways AI can improve your work, from accelerating analysis to thinking through problems from a different angle, and you're thoughtful about accuracy and data sensitivity
  • You use AI to accelerate content development, audience analysis, and campaign optimization, and you're discerning about where editorial judgment still belongs to a human
  • You take ownership of your work, proactively identify opportunities to improve outcomes, and adapt your approach based on feedback

Preferred

  • Experience with paid media platforms and lifecycle or CRM marketing tools such as Braze or Iterable
  • Expertise with A/B testing and experimentation platforms
  • MBA or equivalent
