Own the US product marketing agenda end-to-end with launches, pricing, and messaging, while tying budget, forecasts, and cross‑functional execution to hit targets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Go‑to‑Market & Growth Strategy: Lead U.S. product marketing strategy and commercialization, defining value propositions, positioning, pricing, and launch plans aligned with global strategy and market needs.
  • Business Planning & Performance: Drive achievement of product marketing targets through annual marketing and business plans, forecasts, budget oversight, and cross‑functional execution with sales, CX, and communications teams.
  • Market, Product & Supply Alignment: Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable plans by partnering with global product management, SIOP, manufacturing, IT, and sales on standards, features, master data, and product availability.
  • Sales Enablement & Program Leadership: Enable sales effectiveness through training, tools, and guidance, while leading VOC initiatives, product launches, and multi‑program commercialization efforts with launch partners and third‑party representatives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA required in marketing, business, engineering, or relevant field.
  • MBA preferred; 8+ years of experience in sales/marketing/product management/product marketing or relevant industry required
  • Ability to lead and drive initiatives through a complex, matrixed organization; strong analysis and problem-solving skills required; strong internal and external communication skills both written and verbal required
  • Experience with customer relations via service, visits, relationships, etc. preferred
  • Experience in developing inventory strategies to meet customer demand preferred; ability to perform competitive analysis required
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

  • This role will require a strategic thinker with product aptitude, commercial savvy, and a deep understanding of the market. This role will also require significant project management/execution and influencing skills. It comes with an expense budget to support long and short-term marketing activities, messaging campaigns, and product positioning.
  • Keeping abreast of distributor/contractor/builder buying/spending behavior and patterns, providing relevant feedback for growth & new opportunities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with other functions including sales, CX, Marcomm, and product management.
