Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Show up in the San Francisco and Bay Area developer community 3–5 times per week and turn community activity into event recaps, hackathon project spotlights and user stories.
  • Interview developers about what they’re building with CALL-E, how they found us and what would make them use it more; share actionable recommendations with the product team.
  • Refine product positioning and messaging with the Head of Go-to-Market, Developer Advocate and product team, grounded in user feedback.
  • Build repeatable workflows for content distribution, community engagement, user onboarding and tracking results.
  • Coordinate external agencies for Product Hunt and U.S. KOL/influencer work: track milestones and deliverables, review creative and copy, and coordinate launch-day logistics.

Requirements

  • Based in San Francisco and able to attend 3–5 community events per week across SF and the Bay Area.
  • Connected to the SF AI and developer community, or able to build those relationships quickly.
  • Product marketing or content experience in developer tools, AI or SaaS, ideally at an early-stage company; experience writing technical content and positioning technical products.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to script, record and edit video walkthroughs.
  • Experience building repeatable acquisition, activation or community growth workflows.
  • Technical fluency: comfortable reading API docs, running a quickstart and building a simple demo.
  • User research experience, including turning interviews into product and marketing recommendations.
  • Agency management experience and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Preferred

  • Mandarin, Spanish and/or Portuguese; experience organizing hackathons, meetups or Discord communities; Product Hunt launch experience; or familiarity with voice AI, conversational AI, AI agents or MCP.
