Job Description

Responsibilities

Drive product strategy and roadmap for paid media channels including Google, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, retail media, product feeds, audience signals, measurement feedback loops, and conversion optimization.
Partner with eCommerce, Marketing, Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science teams to build scalable capabilities that improve sponsored product discovery, strengthen first-party data and conversion signals, optimize measurement feedback loops, and drive profitable customer outcomes.
Develop product and data feed capabilities that help AI-powered search tools and digital agents discover Staples products and drive transactions.
Define, manage, and prioritize the product backlog for assigned digital products, platforms, features, or capabilities.
Collaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to align product priorities with digital strategy, customer needs, and business objectives.
Translate customer insights, analytics, market trends, and stakeholder input into user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and product recommendations.
Serve as a primary point of contact between business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX, analytics, data science, and external partners.
Prioritize user stories, bugs, enhancements, and technical work based on customer value, business impact, team capacity, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Partner with engineering and UX teams through Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, product reviews, testing, and release readiness.
Monitor product performance using OKRs, KPIs, customer behavior data, feedback, and digital analytics to identify opportunities for optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Product Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of related experience in product management, with a focus on eCommerce or digital products.
Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, or feature prioritization.
Experience working with engineering, UX, analytics, data science, or other technical teams to deliver digital products or platform enhancements.
Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products from conception through development, launch, and iteration.
Experience using customer insights, digital analytics, KPIs, OKRs, or performance metrics to inform product decisions.
Experience managing multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders across cross-functional initiatives.
Experience preparing written product documentation, stakeholder communications, roadmap updates, or product recommendations.
Solid analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making

Preferred

Master’s degree in a related field.
Professional certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)) or product management certifications (e.g., AIPMM Certified Product Manager).
2+ years supporting paid media channels, platforms, or products with experience in audience targeting, conversion optimization, campaign performance, and product feeds.
Experience with CDPs, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, personalization/testing tools, and product feed management platforms such as Feedonomics.
Experience translating paid media, eCommerce, or data product requirements into technical delivery plans using Jira and Confluence.
Experience managing digital products across mobile, desktop, app, or eCommerce platforms.
Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, product performance measurement, conversion optimization, or customer journey analysis.
Experience working with AI/ML-enabled products, personalization, automation, search, recommendations, decisioning, or similar data-driven digital capabilities.
Experience partnering with data science or engineering teams to define success metrics, test AI/ML outputs, validate solution quality, or support responsible iteration after launch.
Experience using AI productivity tools to support product discovery, requirements development, backlog management, analysis, or stakeholder communications.
