CFS is partnering with a growing SaaS organization seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor – Revenue & Billing to join its finance team. About the Role

The Accounting Supervisor – Revenue & Billing will oversee revenue accounting, billing operations, and financial reporting activities while managing a small billing team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys leadership responsibilities, process optimization, and working in a technology-driven business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily operations of the billing and revenue accounting team.
• Review invoicing, collections, revenue activity, and billing processes.
• Manage deferred revenue schedules and revenue recognition activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end close procedures.
• Process payroll and oversee related accounting transactions.
• Review accounting records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Assist with accounting automation projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to support financial reporting and operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to revenue and billing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in SaaS accounting environments.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting.
• Experience managing month-end close activities.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and reporting functions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct.
• Experience with Maxio or Chargify platforms.
• Payroll processing experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Knowledge of Power Query and accounting automation tools.
