Job Summary

Own the paid influencer program end to end, from strategy and budgeting to contracting, measurement, and cross-functional execution.

  • Define and drive the annual roadmap across four tiers
  • Own the pro influencer budget and reporting framework
  • Lead sourcing, negotiations, and ambassador relationships

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Paid partnership strategy. Own the full paid influencer strategy and annual roadmap across all four tiers, aligned to launch calendar, education enrollment goals, and pro-account acquisition targets.
  • Budget ownership. Manage the pro influencer budget allocation across tiers, forecasting, reconciliation, and the ongoing case for where the next dollar should go.
  • Contracting and negotiation. Source, negotiate, and execute paid agreements, retainers, per-post, usage and whitelisting rights, exclusivity, and performance-based structures. Partner with Legal and Finance on terms, and hold talent accountable to deliverables.
  • Talent sourcing and vetting. Build a disciplined pipeline. Evaluate on audience quality, professional credibility, content standard, and brand fit, not follower count alone. Audit for authenticity before money moves.
  • Ambassador relationship management. Be the primary point of contact for Global and Brand Ambassadors. Manage briefs, approvals, expectations, and renewals, and make top talent feel like partners rather than line items.
  • Build the measurement framework. Define the KPI structure for the program: what each tier is accountable for, what a good result looks like, and how we attribute impact back to revenue and pro-account growth. Establish baselines where none exist.
  • Reporting cadence. Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reporting that leadership can act on, partnership-level, tier-level, and program-level, with a clear recommendation attached to every read.
  • Tooling and infrastructure. Select and implement the platform stack for discovery, tracking, affiliate links, and reporting. Own the data hygiene that makes the numbers trustworthy.
  • Content amplification. Work with Pro Social and Paid Media to extend high-performing partner content through whitelisting and paid amplification, and make sure we are securing usage rights to do it.
  • Seeding and gifting programs. Design the Stylist Insider seeding model so product going out the door produces measurable content and conversion coming back in.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or talent management, including direct ownership of a paid influencer budget.
  • Experience at a modern beauty brand — hair, color, tools, skin, or cosmetics — with meaningful exposure to a professional or salon-channel audience. Strong agency experience on beauty accounts counts.
  • Demonstrated fluency with the professional beauty community: stylist relationships, education programs, trade shows, or licensed-pro audiences.
  • Track record negotiating and managing paid creator agreements, including retainers and usage/whitelisting rights.
  • Proven experience building or substantially rebuilding a measurement framework you can walk us through KPIs you defined and the decisions they changed.
  • Working knowledge of influencer management and affiliate platforms, plus enough comfort in spreadsheets and dashboards to build your own analysis rather than wait for one.
  • Experience managing multi-tier ambassador, affiliate, or advocacy programs at scale.
  • Excellent written communication — briefs, contracts, and reporting all live with this role.
  • Willingness to travel for shoots, classes, and industry events (approximately 15–20%).

Preferred

  • Active cosmetology license, or hands-on experience behind the chair.
  • Experience with hair extensions specifically, wearing, installing, or selling them.
  • Prior experience standing up an influencer function
  • Paid social and creator-whitelisting experience.
  • Experience with international or multi-market ambassador rosters.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus given our pro-community.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $95,000+ with additional 5% annual bonus
  • 401(k) with company match - $ for $ up to 4% - immediately vested
  • Vacation/Holiday Leave
  • Great Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance
  • Life and AD&D Insurance
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement
  • And so much more!
